See project files
Clients can open their portal and find the client-facing folders Studio Stratton places inside their Client Portal folder.
This walkthrough explains what the portal does, how clients use it, and how the Studio Stratton team can prepare the Client Portal folder inside each project.
The portal gives each client one private place to see the project files Studio Stratton wants them to have. It keeps files organized, easy to find, and separate from internal team notes.
Clients can open their portal and find the client-facing folders Studio Stratton places inside their Client Portal folder.
When the team adds a client-safe file to the right Client Portal folder, the client can find it in the portal.
Each client login is connected only to that client’s Client Portal folder. They do not see other client projects or internal team folders.
The portal is intentionally simple. Clients should know where to log in, where to look, and how to send ideas or photos back to the team.
Each client uses their email and password to enter the portal. After login, they see only their own project.
Folders can include Drawings, Invoices, Renderings, Agreements, Inspiration, Appliances and Plumbing Fixtures, Photos, and Uploads.
Clients can preview common file types and download files when they need to save a copy.
The Drawings folder gives clients a clear place to look for the newest project drawings shared by the team.
The Invoices folder keeps client billing documents separate from design files and photos.
Clients can upload inspiration photos, site photos, or other project images directly from the portal.
Clients can paste a Pinterest link and save the image to their project Inspiration folder.
The portal is designed for simple use on desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
When Studio Stratton updates the client’s Client Portal folder, the portal reflects those files for the client.
These are the simple steps a homeowner needs. The language below can be reused in a welcome email.
Studio Stratton staff use the same portal link as clients. Staff accounts open the Clients dashboard, where new client access can be created and managed.

Staff can create client logins, connect each login to the right Client Portal folder, reset a client password, pause client access, and reactivate access later.
Only share client-ready folders and files through the Client Portal folder. Keep internal project files outside of that folder.
The portal is easiest to use when the team keeps a clean Client Portal folder inside each project. Think of it as the public shelf for the client.
Studio Stratton already has the right shape in the CLIENT TEMPLATE. The admin dashboard lets staff create the client login and connect it to the Client Portal folder without opening Supabase or any technical tools.
The template includes folders such as Agreements-Budgets-Financials, Engineering, Labor Bids, Meeting Notes, Photos, Drawings, Renderings, Cabinetry, Appliances and Plumbing Fixtures, and other finish selections. These help the Studio Stratton team run the project.
Inside each project, use the Client Portal folder for files that are ready for the client. This is the folder Illume connects to the client login.
The dashboard is designed for plain client setup. No one needs to work inside Supabase, Google Cloud, Vercel, or an agent tool.
Client setup fields Client name: Client email: Project name: Client Portal folder link: Password:
If the dashboard says the folder is not named Client Portal, go back to Drive and copy the Client Portal folder link inside the client project.
